Located on the south east side of the island and less than a 20 minute drive from Bali's International Airport, the grand mountains of central Bali adding a picture perfect backdrop, Sanur is a regency fishing village, among its charms are some of the most beautiful ceremonial processions on the island, and the location of the island's oldest stone inscription. Sanur beach is sheltered by a coral reef making it the perfect place to try out all forms of waters ports including: swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, parasailing and jetskiing.
Sanur is the ideal location if you just want to relax and unwind and experience true Balinese hospitality without the westernised hustle and bustle of the other major Bali tourist centres. Sanur is most famous for it's award winning restaurants, café's and bars and it's traditional arts and crafts markets but most of all the always smiling and happy faces of it's people. Most restaurants in the area feature traditional music and dance performances and offer free hotel transfers to and from their restaurants.
